The purpose of this work is to investigate, within the context extended thermo-diffusion theory, transient responses for a half-space with variable thermal conductivity and diffusivity. half-bounding space’s surface traction-free exposed time-dependent shock, but chemical potential believed be known function time. Because nonlinear equations are complicated, finite element technique applied solve these equations. Numerical outcomes produced graphically illustrated. effects varying diffusivity on response studied using parameter studies. Using results study, researchers hope understand better how thermo-mechanical fields interact in real materials. By ignoring new parameter, comparison numerical analytical cases produced, behavior physical quantities solutions ensure that proposed accurate.
